Deer Cave (Gua Rusa) in Gunung Mulu National Park features a massive cave passage over 2 kilometers long and 174 meters high. Every evening around sunset (weather permitting), between 2 to 3 million bats stream out in giant dragon-like ribbons across the rainforest sky, creating one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles.
