Kinabalu Park covers 754 square kilometers surrounding Mount Kinabalu in the Crocker Range. Designated as Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 and awarded UNESCO Global Geopark status in 2023, it is recognized as a global Centre of Plant Diversity.
