Tentang
The Sanctuary of the "Man of the Forest"
For over 40 years, Semenggoh Wildlife Centre has cared for orphaned and rescued Bornean Orangutans (Pongo pygmaeus). Today, it serves as a thriving semi-wild habitat where generations of free-roaming orangutans forage, breed, and thrive across 740 hectares of protected primary jungle.
Daily Feeding Sessions
Visitors gather twice daily (9:00 AM and 3:00 PM) at the forest feeding platforms to witness orangutans, including legendary alpha males like Ritchie, descend gracefully through the high forest canopy for supplementary fruit.
