Located upstream from Kapit town, the Pelagus Rapids are a series of fierce cataracts where the massive Rajang River forces its way through jagged volcanic boulders. Revered in Dayak mythology, the rapids are a paradise for whitewater river expeditions and exploring deep interior longhouses.
