The Beating Heart of the Cat City
The Kuching Waterfront is an internationally celebrated riverside promenade stretching for nearly one kilometer along the south bank of the Sarawak River. Lined with scenic open-air bistros, historic street lamps, and lush landscaping, the esplanade provides front-row views of the historic Astana (Governor’s Palace), Fort Margherita, and the majestic New Sarawak State Legislative Assembly building.
Darul Hana Bridge & Musical Fountain
Spanning the river is the iconic Darul Hana Bridge, a striking 335-meter S-curved pedestrian suspension bridge. At night, the bridge illuminates in vibrant synchronized LED lighting alongside the grand Darul Hana Musical Fountain show.
